| Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death, loosely based on my life, released in 1989. |
I've been eating at least half an avocado per day for the last couple of weeks now. My skin looks seriously good (revise - it seriously doesn't look bad), and usually this time of year it's flaky and pink and itchy and I actually get something called FUNNY FINGER.
I'm pleased to share that funny finger is dormant this winter.
Avocados have omega 3 fats.
They taste insanely good.
You can just cut one in half and eat it with a spoon.
Or sprinkle a bit of lemon pepper on some slices.
Or use some on a sandwich in place of mayo.
I think I've had friendships based entirely around the love of avocados.
I'll let you know how it goes when I try it as a deep conditioning hair treatment and as a face masque.
Keep scrollin' for some avo-porn...

Once spring starts, boyf and I both eat one of these a day, as long as supplies last. We pack them up to eat at baseball games. We eat them in the car. We eat them and love them. I prefer just cracked pepper. Sometimes I will use Tapatio or Taco Bell's Hot sauce OR Sriacha if I need some spicy goodness. I didn't know they proved as ripe and rad in the winter, but I'll have to get on that to keep my dry hands away.
